Thermal Trend - Lean DB

Step 1: Downloading and installing Thermal Trend

Instructions for first time installations on a notebook or desktop computer

Download the following files to your computer.

Once the files have been downloaded, right mouse click on the “TT Lean DB required files for 1st time install.zip” file. You will get a right mouse click option to extract all files. Select that option. This will unzip the these files to your local computer. 

Next right mouse click on the “TT Lean for Desk.zip” file. You will get a right mouse click option to extract all files. Select that option.

TTLDB filesOnce both files are unzipped, open the “TT Lean for Desk” folder and select the following two files “Setup.exe” and “TTDesk.msi” copy or cut these files and paste them into the “TT Lean DB required files for 1st time install” folder (Refer to this image for all files that should show in this folder) 

After this is completed double click on the Setup.exe and follow the instructions.

Instructions for Vista Operating System Users

Note if installing on the Vista operating system the “SQLExpress.zip” file will be required.

Instructions first time installations on Pocket PC

Download the following file to your computer.

Once the file has been downloaded, right mouse click on the “TT Lean for PPC.zip” file. You will get a right mouse click option to extract all files. Select that option. This will unzip these files to your local computer. 

After this has been completed, double click on the Setup.exe in the “TT Lean for PPC” folder and follow the instructions.

Step 2: Registering Thermal Trend

Desktop Registration

Start Thermal Trend Lean DB by going to your start, all programs, Thermal Trend, Thermal Trend Lean DB this will bring up a registration screen.

Register TTLDB

Press your “ALT” button on the keyboard and press your “Prnt Scrn” button (this will take a screen shot of the registration screen)

Paste that screen shot into an email and send it to mike.arthur@prothermographer.com with the subject line of “30 day trial registration request”

Please indicate your Company Name in the email as this is used in the registration.

Pocket PC Registration

Start Thermal Trend on the Pocket PC by clicking on start, programs, ThermalTrend Lean on the Pocket PC. This will bring up the Registration Screen.

Then send an email to mike.arthur@prothermographer.com and with the subject line of “30 day trial registration request for the PPC”.

In the email send the PPC Name: (See yellow highlighted area in example) it must be exactly as it appears here (case sensitive) with your Company Name.
